Virtual Assay Office
Our award-winning Virtual Assay Office (VAO) system allows any registered customer to submit and fully track items sent for hallmarking and includes integration with postal and courier providers for end-to-end tracking of consignments.
The VAO is easy to use and is accessible from any device in any locations, 24/7. After registering, the application is accessed using any web browser. It is simple and intuitive to use and produces all paperwork required to submit your work for assay. It also provides you with automated updates on the progress of your work, alongside links to the tracking references for the return of your parcel.
Registration is free, available either online or by contacting our enquiries team via enquiries@edinburghassayoffice.co.uk. Once registered, you will have full access to our help section that provides troubleshooting and details on how to use VAO.

Submit your jobs online and receive an estimated completion date.

Receive notifications upon completion of your job

If you choose to sign-up for our distribution function, you can set-up different return addresses for individual items
